We can create Bespoke headboards, Ottomans or footstools to match your style.

Domestic Upholstery

Domestic upholstery is basically anything which is used at home, or not in a public, business or commercial setting.

Domestic upholstery will need to meet a minimum standard of fire retardancy and can come in various levels of wearability

the wearability is measured with a 'rub test' and given a 'Martindale' rating

Contract or Commercial upholstery

Contract upholstery is intended for commercial use, in public places such as hotels, restaurants, bars, offices, public transport etc.

These places tend to be subject to heavy traffic, so the upholstery needs to be able to withstand more wear and tear.

The fabrics also need to meet a higher standard of Fire retardancy regulation.

Custom built furniture

If you are creating a bespoke piece of furniture in a commercial setting, you will need to complete a risk assesment to determine the required fire safety rating.

You can then commission an upholsterer and/or furniture maker to create something to that specification.
